Lots of exciting things have been happening here at My Little Customs! ^_^ First off, I just wanted to thank everyone who took the time to take part and voice their opinions on my survey. I have had an overwhelmingly positive response, lots of really lovely comments and some great product suggestions! On to the exciting new developments and results of the survey! - By far the greatest suggestion for stock has been for me to carry the FULL colour range of both the nylon and saran hair.
I am really excited to say that this is going to happen! I have 32 new nylon colours being packaged up ready for shipping at the end of the month. This brings my nylon range right up to date and including my brand new “Melting” Colours range and my custom blends, this means that I will now be stocking 103 nylon colours! The 29 new saran colours are also on their way and are due in with me on Tuesday 6th May. Alongside the full range of Katsilk Saran colours, I am also stocking 16 of the dollyhair saran exclusive colours with 2 more new Thermal Colour Changing colours on their way too! This brings my total colour range in the saran up to 82 colours! This also in turn means that My Little Customs is the ONLY online store where you can purchase the full range of both nylon and saran hair colours on the entire internet! LOL - Another popular suggestion for stock was more Blythe goodies.
This is another suggestion I have responded to immediately! I have a large shipment of Blythe eye chips that have arrived from Japan.
I also have foils and Lip Stickers fresh from Japan in stock ^_^ Some GORGEOUS handmade Blythe dresses in stock made by the fabulous Suzi Some super cute Blythe hairclips handmade by me waiting to be photographed and uploaded More of the tiny Blythe sized Kirby grips are also here ^_^ I also have some gorgeous vintage beads waiting in the wings which will make stunning pull rings - There were also lots of calls for rerooting tools and needles too which is another line I am implementing!
I have some Doll sized rerooting tools being made as we speak alongside some My Little Pony rerooting tools which are now in stock. I have long doll rerooting needles in stock in packs of 3 sized: 6 7/8”, 5 1/8” & 3 ½” I also have some 1.0mm crochet needles in stock for your Blythe reroots too! - There was also demand for Japanese imported fabrics for your dolly dress making
These too are also now in stock! They are so adorable your heart will just melt - There were a few people who mentioned that my Pippa colour matching guide was a little confusing as different places suggest different matches.
I have hopefully addressed this by taking some photographs of original Pippa samples alongside the matching colours. I would like to extend special thanks to Dianna for generously supplying me with the samples and to Suzi for identifying that White Witch Nylon is a perfect match for Gail so no more need to mix in a few strands of silver hair to white for every plug! *phew* So much has been happening! Now on to some slightly bad news. The question of shipping has literally been a 50 / 50 split between keeping postage free and upping the costs of the products or keeping the products the same price and paying for postage. With my postal costs spiralling out of control thanks to Royal Mail’s HUGE price hikes and introduction of large and small letter price structures over the last 12 months I have been forced to concede that I can no longer afford to offer free shipping on my website. However, I will not be charging for handling or packaging ~ the postage costs you pay will be the ACTUAL postal costs and not a penny more. Postage will start from 52p Large Letter First Class and a new shipping option of Second Class delivery will also added to give you more freedom, flexibility and choice over how you want your items to be sent. That is more than enough news from me for now ~ I applaud you for sticking with it and reading this far!! LOL
